Hello, I am Hisham
Hisham Alrashdan — Healthcare Integration Engineer
InfoGleam is the work of Hisham Alrashdan, a healthcare integration engineer based in Irbid, Jordan. I have worked in IT for more than 20 years.
I help healthcare teams keep their data moving, safely. I build HL7 and FHIR interfaces on integration engines such as Open Integration Engine (OIE) and Mirth Connect.
My background
I have a strong background in health informatics, interface integration, and data analysis.
- Interface integration. I build and support HL7 v2 and FHIR interfaces on Mirth Connect (also called NextGen Connect) and OIE. I connect EMR and HIS systems with lab, radiology, billing, and dental systems. I also build plugins and extensions for these engines.
- Health informatics. I understand how clinical and dental systems work, how they store data, and how staff use them every day.
- Data analysis. I work with SQL every day. I read source databases safely, check the data, and map fields between systems.
- Software. I write code in Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, and TypeScript, and I ship it with Docker.
I hold an M.Sc. in Computer Science (2008).
Courses
- HL7 Fundamentals Course, HL7 International (2019)
- HL7 FHIR Fundamentals Course, HL7 International (2019)
- Data Analytics and Visualization in Health Care, Rochester Institute of Technology on edX (2021)
How I work
- You work directly with me. There is no sales layer and no hand-off.
- Open standards and open source where they fit, so you are not locked in.
- A written quote before any work starts.
- Privacy first. Patient data stays on your systems. I follow HIPAA-style privacy practices.
- Tested before go-live. I test every interface and script myself before it goes live.
- Clear documentation, so your team can run what I build.
Where I work
I am based in Irbid, Jordan (GMT+3). I work with clients in Jordan, the Gulf countries, and remotely around the world. I work in English and Arabic.
